Wat Suan Dok

A short 6-minute drive away from the hotel, or 30 minutes t if you enjoy exploring the streets of Chiang Mai on foot, you’ll find the beautiful Wat Suan Dok. This Buddhist temple is celebrated for its unique architecture of many white structures called Chedi surrounding the main golden gem in the centre. Wat Suan Dok literally means “flower garden temple”. The name stems from the location where it was built. The temple area was once used as a Royal flower garden by the ruler of Chiang Mai.
